University life is spread across two linked campuses - Park Campus at Kingsthorpe, a northern suburb, and Avenue Campus just north of the town centre and opposite a large open park known as the Racecourse, with restaurants, shops, bars, Students' Union and a range of accommodation options. To ensure you get the very best, the university has invested millions of pounds in facilities and buildings on both campuses. The University's £25million St John's Halls of Residence in Northampton town centre, which opened at the start of 2014, offers students a town centre living experience.

Due for completion in February 2015, the £8.5million University of Northampton Innovation Centre will offer business support and advice for businesses in the social enterprise sector.
