Having cemented my academic foundation in law with an LLB Degree under The University of Law, I have attempted to gain professional skills with a BPTC course at BPP University. While I expect to finish this soon, I look forward to start my LLM Commercial and Corporate Law course so that I can complement my current academic knowledge with advanced levels and build higher capacities on my existing strength. While fulfilling my academic targets, this Master in Law course will facilitate my career targets, personal and professional developments.
Alongside my academic platform for the LLM course, I have also attained student attachment programme in the legal and external affairs department of British American Tobacco, Bangladesh; applied knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibilities undertaken with the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh. Most recently, I have gained insights in commercial disputes through a mini-pupillage at Temple Court Chambers where I have shadowed different barristers in court in the Chancery Division of the High Court. The on-hand experiences have helped me to focus in my area of interest and attach that with my career goal. Most importantly, the learning will enrich the LLM study and add value to the accumulated knowledge and skills that the qualification aims to offer.
When it comes to gaining greater endeavours in law, I excel in my perseverance, intellectual ability, advocacy capacity, communication, leadership, presentation and negotiation skills – I exhibit my soft skills with precision and bring out my best ability academically and professionally – I become a champion to apply my skills to situations for successful outcomes. I believe these features of my personality in addition to my academic ability and professional capacity will embellish my learning and performance strongly and once qualified, I will make a great commercial and corporate lawyer.
