Course Overview

This degree provides you with solid theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the key areas related to the efficient management of international marketing. It will enable you to be an effective marketing manager within a variety of business environments. The option exists to specialise in particular areas of marketing and business functions, with an emphasis on international themes.

The modules offered will enable you to develop the essential skills and knowledge required to operate a marketing function successfully, with optional modules developing specialist knowledge such as international and global marketing; business to business marketing; and marketing, innovation, creativity and enterprise.

Academic entry requirements

An undergraduate degree in any discipline or equivalent. Applicants with relevant professional experience will also be considered for entry to the course.

English entry requirements

IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any subcomponent. UWS will also consider applicants who have previously studied at degree level, taught and assessed in English, in what UKVI define as a majority English-speaking country.

Assessment methods

Combination of examination, coursework and a supervised independent business research project & live case studies - a range of practically focused assignments, such as case studies, portfolios, presentations and other assessment formats which will replicate the types of practice graduates will be expected to undertake in their typical working life upon completion of the programme.

Progression route

Further academic study of DBA, PhD or other research degree or Professional career.
