Academic entry requirements

Applicants should have successfully completed professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, AIA, CIMA, CPA Australia OR the EduQual Diploma in Business Management (Accounting and Finance - SCQF, Level 11) qualification.

English entry requirements

A good command of English (equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above) or; evidence that you have been instructed and assessed predominantly in English for a significant part of your educational career.

This programme consists of a taught module 'Critical Issues in Accounting and Finance' and a Research Project all facilitated within a modern eLearning environment. Students are required to submit coursework and write a dissertation or project report of approximately 12,000 words.

Module Aims: Critical Issues in Accounting and Finance

  • To develop a critical understanding of thematic nature of the study of organisations and the accounting and finance environment. 
  • To enable participants to critically evaluate the tasks and responsibilities of accounting and finance professionals from an integration perspective through the introduction of contemporary and pervasive issues.

Module Aims: Dissertation and Research Methods

  • To provide the student with the opportunity to acquire a grounding in taught postgraduate level (level 7) approaches to research, and related research skills.
  • To provide the student with the opportunity to carry out a sustained, independent research project, involving an individual piece of conceptual, applied or work-related research, culminating in the writing of a dissertation or project report of approximately 12,000 words.


Learning methods

The course is delivered through blended learning which is a structured study option that uses a combination of support elements from London School of Marketing (LSM) Academic team and its partners or Local Access Point.

LSM will be responsible for course delivery, and your Local Access Point will be responsible for providing IT infrastructure and administrative support.

As a partnership’s student, you will be part a part of the academic community and you will receive the chance to interact with personal tutor in London and fellow students around the world.
