I am pleased to apply for the BSc (Hons) International Business Management since I have found the programme crossing my academic progression route. I have found the programme offered by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) very interesting in fulfilling my academic and career goal.

The course offered by ARU covers all the major functional areas of business and organisation from finance and marketing to human resource management and information management; it also examines the cultural, ethical and interpersonal challenges that arise when working within a multicultural business environment and when operating across global boundaries.

The study of the programme will enable me to develop my knowledge and skills in areas of study which reflect the international business and its functions, operations and management in the everyday global competition. I expect to develop, from the study, high level Professional awareness of key developments and issues in different sectors through the study of a range of intellectually challenging units relating to diverse business management activities in sectors including Business Economics and Finance, Corporate and Business Law, Marketing, HRM, Business Strategy, International Business, project management and lot more. The project module will help develop my research and analytical skill and contribute innovative ideas to tackle the changing nature of global business and introduce theories and models for the development of future improvement and business and organizations. Above all the BSc degree will set a strong platform and pave my pathway for further higher study at post-graduate levels.

As for my preparation, I have completed a BBA from Bangladesh which is considered an A level by UK NARIC and fulfill the entry requirements of the graduate degree programme of UK and hence ARU. I have studied Principles of Accounting, Introduction to Business, Business Mathematics, Principles of Management, Principles of Economics, Principles of Finance, Business Communication, Business Statistics, Business Law, Principles of Marketing, Financial Management, Auditing and Taxation, Business Environment, International Business, Cost Accounting modules.

I can see from the course structure of the BSc of ARU that these modules have direct and indirect relationships of my prospective study and its learning outcomes. My study of BBA has laid good foundation for the BSc and will complement my learning hugely – this would allow me to extract the knowledge of BSc with confidence at greater level and perform well in achieving invaluable outcome. The BSc course will certainly enhance my level of knowledge and skill and provide academic progression along with better career prospects.

On completion of this course, I will have developed my ability to analyse problems logically and apply decision-making skills and knowledge to reach feasible and realistic management and business solutions. This range of management and business skills will make me highly employable in career areas such as finance, marketing, management within both the private and public sectors.

In five to 10 years time, post qualification, I see myself as one of the successful business manager or entrepreneur in multinational companies in the ever developing Bangladesh, my motherland or representing a global business as business development manager or a brand ambassador to Europe or America.

I have chosen the ARU because its graduates are in the forefront among the head-hunters in our country and enjoy top job offers in the fiercely competitive employment market.  And ARU is in the London, the financial capital of Europe – the temple for the religion of business. A business qualification in business from within and inside the business environment would be ideal to learn the learning the whole of it.
