UKVI has ‘differential evidence requirements’ for USA students - USA students applying for student visa in USA do not need to provide education certificates or bank statements with their visa applications. USA students do not need to provide evidence to prove their knowledge of English to study UK undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses.

Students will have the right to work while continuing their studies in the UK i.e. 10 hours per week if they are studying foundation course, 20 hours per week studying a bachelor, masters or PhD course. Students will be able to work full time per week during holiday period in between your course.

A No, it is not mandatory to apply for undergraduate courses via UCAS, many UK universities accept direct applications via online application portal for undergraduate courses. You do not need to apply for postgraduate courses via UCAS.

Students are not required to take GRE or GMAT exams
A USA students applying to study bachelor degree or above level courses at a UK University do not need IELTS to prove their proficiency in English.
However, students applying to study a foundation course in the UK will require sitting IELTS for UKVI to meet the requirements.
