Apply to Study in the UK from Indonesia

Among top Western countries UK offers lowest tuition fees, cheaper living costs, better educational environment, and safer student life – these are top priorities for Indonesian students when choosing study abroad destination.

Indonesia, the largest economy in Southeast Asia and 16th largest in the world is home to rapidly growing middle class. The world’s 4th populous country has 50% of its population under the age of 30. Currently, Indonesia has too few quality higher education institutions to meet domestic demand. Only 7% of the workforce currently has a university education and as per the World Bank, the country has to triple this proportion to propel the country’s economic target. Indonesia is recently sending 35% more students abroad than it did a decade ago.

Number of tertiary-level students from Indonesia in the UK was 3,087 in 2022 (Statista) and it was the 5th largest host country for Indonesian students. UK has classified Indonesia as a ‘low risk’ country and UKVI hasdifferential evidence requirement’ arrangements for Indonesian students. Indonesian nationals who apply student visas in Indonesia do not need to provide education certificates or bank statements with their visa applications. The UK-Indonesia Partnership Roadmap & MOU for education collaboration signed in 2022 are likely to increase the number of Indonesian students for Study UK significantly. We, Total Student Care aim to provide help and support to Indonesian students with admission at low cost UK universities and arrange partial scholarship to reduce tuition fees further.
