I am keen to pursue the MSc Management and International Business programme at Birmingham City University. This course is ideal for gaining practical knowledge and other skills which will be playing a significant role to achieve my future career aspirations and also enhance my academic attainments. In addition, it will give me the opportunity to apply my theories and ideas in practice which will benefit me to enhance my skills and knowledge and to achieve a deeper understanding of the field of business and management.

Following my SSC & HSC in Business Studies group, I have completed my Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from IUBAT- International University of Business Agriculture & Technology, Bangladesh in 2019. Later on, I joined Creation Private Limited as a Commercial Officer and worked there from March 2020 to August 2021. I earned a great communication skills and leadership quality from my workplace. My medium of Instruction was in English which has strongly developed my command of English. I still involve with different types of clubs and extra-curricular activities. From here, I become to know the value of an overseas degree. I choose UK as my study destination because it will make easier my path to achieving my future career goal as my country’s employers are recognized for UK degrees. On top of this, the Birmingham City University provides a range of facilities for their students which will progress me both academically and professionally. I believe that my academic career, background, and experience will enable me to ‘add value’ to the program which I intend to pursue with exceptional diligence.

I have reviewed the course specification of MSc Management and International Business programme and found some modules which are adjusted with the latest developments. These modules includes Managerial Finance, The Integrated Business, Leadership Development, International Strategic Management, Major Project, International Operations Strategy and Innovation, Cross Cultural Management, and Research Project Management. These modules will help me to broaden my knowledge of educational and business management areas on an international level. I am certain that my chosen program is right for me and that possessing this MSc degree would ensure better employment opportunities and a successful career back home. Successfully completion of this course will create a lot of career platforms for me such as Management Consultant, Business adviser, and Business analyst in a well renowned company which includes Square Group, Bashundhara Group of Company, Pran RFL Group.

The economy of Bangladesh is growing very fast. The government of our country is trying its best to achieve all the sustainable development goals as soon as possible and providing all kinds of necessary support to boost the economy. As a result, lots of innovations are taking place in every sector lately. However, my skills and previously completed subjects will help me to complete my prospective study. After completing my post-graduation, I want to come back to Bangladesh and aim to develop my career as a Management Consultant in a renowned organizations. Having a post graduate degree from an esteemed UK university will definitely propel my career to a significant level. With the help of the skills that I will receive from my chosen program, I will be able to develop and demonstrate strong managerial expertise. I believe I made the right choice choosing MSc Management and International Business programme at Birmingham City University to extend my educational career.

I have chosen UK for pursuing my MSc degree because UK is an English-speaking country and it has a rich cultural diversity. It is said that Alumni who are currently studying in UK about its environment and other things like higher quality of education and high standard of living. One of the most appealing features of this country which excites me the most is the favorable conditions and opportunities for doing business research. Lastly, most of the employers of my home country have an eye for those who have a UK degree because of the distinct curriculums and mode of education they provide. UK is home to some of the best universities in the world and are placed high in the world rankings. There is a total of 143 universities in the UK, 108 of which are in England, 19 in Scotland, 8 universities in Wales and 8 in Northern Ireland. Of the top 10 universities in the world, 4 are held by UK institutions. Owing to educational excellence of these universities, there are a total of 485,645 international students studying in the UK, representing over 100 different countries. Candidates will have the opportunity to take part in world-class research that have direct influence on many international affairs, such as vaccine research, innovative business idea development, and more. Students can choose from over 64 different subject areas, offering over 50,000 different courses. The degrees awarded by UK universities are recognized all over the world by recruiters and academics alike and most universities have a graduate employability rate of almost 90%. After considering these facts, it was not very difficult for me to choose UK as the sole target for my further studies.

Birmingham City University provides a first-class education with a focus on practical skills and professional relevance. On top of this, students get the chance to gain industry and professional practice experience through work placements. Actually, the University supports their students from dedicated team during their course to get career-ready. It would be a great achievement for me if I get the opportunity to study at Birmingham City University.
